A standard key can be copied by anyone who has a key machine and the appropriate key blank e.g. key cutters, key cutting kiosks etc.
A high security key system offers extensive security compared to a standard key system.

A security restricted key can only be copied by the locksmith/company who installed the initial system.

Upon a request for keys a letter must accompany the individual with a specimen signature, that being the authorised signature holder of that system. Records are kept detailing how many keys have been issued and the date of issue. This keeps the customer in full control of keys issues
